We have searched various electronic databases to collect some of the news articles that mention Angelman Syndrome. Not all newspapers make their archives available electronically, so if you have a recent story not listed below, please send it to us. (Submit story to Maggie's Family Website.) We have included both the positive and not so positive stories about familes touched by Angelman. We have not included stories that contain false or inaccurate information.
Occassionally there has beena significant medical story that appeared in many magazines and newspapers. In these cases we have chosen to include the version that appears in the publication, Genomics & Genetics Weekly. Eventually, we might build a searchable news article database, but for now we have tried to keep them chronological, with the most recent articles at the top of the following list.
