Maggie's buddy zone

Maggie's house is party central for the gang from Lord Strathcona public school. In this part of Maggie's web zone, we celebrate her adventures with her friends.

Maggie recently went to a birthday party for one of the boys in her grade one class. The scene was chaos, so Maggie jumped right in and had a great time. Maggie loves to hang with the crowd. Here she joins the circle with the other kids.

presents

Maggie loves to open presents and she is quick to offer to help anyone else who is trying to unwrap presents. At the party, she stealthily worked her way to the front of the crowd until she could join in the unwrapping frenzy.

Inclusion means buddies

Maggie's friend had a pinata at his birthday party. Maggie took a turn with the bat, but she thought the whole idea was so funny that she could not stop laughing. Of course, none of the other grade one kids had much luck making contact with the pinata, even when the blind folds came off.

When the pinata was finally broken open, the other kids scrambled desperately for the little bits of candy. Maggie claimed the big prize, the bumble bee pinata itself. She brought her trophy home from the birthday party.
