Fun with My Friends

Long Lost Blog Fans

No, my blog has not been censored by the Feds, Dad has just been a wee bit lazy. It has been a crazy month. We bought our house in Kingston, much thanks to Grandma Pat and Grandma Sue for their help. Grandma Sue just came for a visit. Well she thought she was coming for a visit. My parents put her to work, 24/7. The Ithaca house is now just about ready to go up for sale. Mama and Dad want to have friends over first. They throw the only party I know where every door prize is a paint brush and chore list.

Mag and Jane

Jane’s Mom and Dad came over to help get the house ready to sell. Kathy brought a great casserole and Jane’s Dad has this wicked cool van with special light on top and lots of cool compartments inside. Me and Jane had a blast while the old people talked about boring things, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, give me a paintbrush and I’ll show you some artistic creativity. Talkin’ about creative fun, I hung out with my friends Pam, Patti and Mindy at the Science Center.

I had to check out Patti’s credentials to make sure she was certified to play with the Magster. Mindy and I made waves at the water table.

Pam always has cool things for me to see and feel. Pam gave my parents these therapy brushes. Mama uses them on me everyday, but she doesn't brush my hair, she brushes my entire body. They call it brushing therapy for sensory integration; I call it weird. If somebody came up to you and started brushing you down like a horse, you’d probably stop running around everywhere and focus on what that weirdo was doing too! Still, Pam is the best.

Dad went to the big conference in New York City. He didn’t bring me back anything, can you believe it??? He did this big study on ExxonMobil for the conference and decided they are this big evil corporation that is making billions of dollars for rich people by melting the polar ice caps and dunking baby swans in crude oil. Anyway, my parents decide to strike back at “The Man” by refusing to put any oil into the car. Guess what happened to the engine on the highway! Brilliant Dad. The mechanic says the car still runs, but “there’s a loud knocking noise…” That’s OK, I’m riding with Mama in the other car.

Tight spot
Sometimes life puts you in a tight spot.

Aunt Mary posted new photos of their adventures in Europe! You can check them out here, Williams-Hickey Winter 05-06. Mama and Dad have been way behind taking pictures of me, but you can find the latest album in my big gallery here, Magster February 2006. That’s all for now, stay cool.

Maggie out.
