One summer's evening, in the sweet month of May,
To the graveyard in Anhid, all the neighbours did stray.
Some were their loved ones, others had none,
All are with God, beneath every stone.

The evening was cloudy, the wind had a chill,
Yet all of those people, were there with a will.
They thought of those people, who alas are no more,
We pray they were welcomed,
to Heaven's Golden shore.

What a beautiful Mass, in the shade of the wall,
They answered in chorus, as evening did fall.
Thanks Fr. Joe for the lovely event,
To the people who cleaned it, their time was well spent.

From the dawns lovely chorus, to the evening soft fall,
All waiting so peaceful, for Gabriel's last call.
